Frequently asked questions

This trek offers spectacular views of the Himalayas and a quick trip into the inner Himalayas. The journey is stunning and unique. You'll mostly walk on boundless pastures with big and little mountains. Trekking in the Himalayas is worthwhile due to its stunning forests, campsites, sunrises, and sunsets. Shepherds and their families will be awe-inspiring to meet.

People say that April, May, October, and November are the best months for a Pangarchulla Peak trek so that you can have a wonderful time hiking to the top. Even though it's hot in April and May, it's easy for hikers to avoid the heat and find better paths. During October and November, winter has just started here, so the weather is nice and there are many beautiful sights to see. So, the best time for a Pangarchulla Peak trek is during these four months.

People say that the Pangarchulla Trek is hard. The high altitude of over 15,000 feet at a distance of 38 kilometers, as well as the landscape, necessitate at least one moderately to difficult high altitude trek. For the summit, you need a lot of fitness and endurance. But the beautiful views of the mountains, villages, and tall peaks make up for all the hard work.

In the beginning, we will go about 5–6 km. Later, the trek will take 12 hours a day for 3 days. The whole experience will be on a moderate level.

When you stay at the guest house in Joshimath, you'll use toilets made of concrete. At each campsite on your trek, there will be a toilet tent set up. Depending on how many people are in the group, there will be two or four of these tents. In these toilet tents, there will be a deep hole where you can go to the bathroom. Also, a mound of dirt and a shovel will be there to cover it up. Use toilet paper since these are dry toilets. There will also be an air freshener. Also, use plain toilet paper and don't use wet wipes, which don't break down in nature.
