You can reach Hampta Pass by going to Manali by road or by air and then completing your journey from Manali to Hampta Pass.
By Road
- It will take you around 12–14 hours by car or bus, covering a 550-kilometer distance to Manali.
- By bus, you can book Himachal Tourism buses and board them from the ISBT.
- You can drive by car via NH44 and NH3.
- You can also hire a private taxi to enjoy your journey.
By Air
- You can take a flight from Delhi to Bhuntar, which is around 50 km from Manali, and the duration is 1.5 hours. After that, you can take a taxi or a bus from Bhuntar to Manali.
From Manali to Hampta Pass
Manali to Jobra is mostly the trek’s starting point, which is 20 km by road and takes up to around 1 hour by car. You can also take the bus to Jobra.
The Hampta Pass trek route further follows:
- The Hampta Pass Trek route would be Delhi-Chandigarh-Mandi-Kullu-Manali-Jobra-Chika-Balu ka Gera-Hampta Pass-Shea Goru-Chatru. Mostly, it can be extended up to Chandratal Lake to get the magnificent views.
- To complete the Hampta Pass Trek, the duration will be around 4-5 days, depending on the weather conditions and your fitness level.
