The Valley of Flowers was founded in 1931 by British mountaineer Frank Smythe. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2005, gained international attention, and became famous worldwide. Unique fauna, such as snow leopards and black bears, will compel you to appreciate the splendour of nature through the Valley of Flowers and towards Hemkund Sahib, another striking illustration of nature’s beauty, which is located at a height of 4,632 meters (15,197 feet) above sea level.

Hemkund Sahib has spiritual significance, and it is believed that Guru Gobind Singh meditated here in his previous incarnation. The place is considered extremely pious and is mostly popular among ‘Sikhs’.

Hemkund Sahib offers a demanding trek of about 19 kilometres from Govindghat while providing astonishing views and a sense of achievement once reached. Hemkund Sahib is closed in the winter due to freezing temperatures and harsh winter conditions.

You must acknowledge the Pushpawati River, which flows through the Valley of Flowers. It has a spiritual significance as it is believed that when the Pandavas arrived here, they saw flowers floating in the river, which is why it came to be known as the Pushpawati River.

The origin of the Pushpawati River is the Tipra Glacier, which is located within the Valley of Flowers National Park. If you want to gain such extensive experience, this is the opportunity you must grab.

This trek provides you with breathtaking, stunning views of Mother Nature. Encounter a variety of vibrant and captivating flowers and exceptional wildlife like snow leopards, golden eagles, and Himalayan monal, etc.
