Place with stunning natural views

The Tungnath temple offers beautiful views and is a nice place to visit. However, there are no constructed properties for overnight stays . The only option for accommodation is camping ,,If you are planning to visit make sure to carry raincoat and winter jacket. Its approx 4.5 km trekking from chopta.

Food for the Soul

The Tungnath temple complex is truly breathtaking. Surrounded by towering deodhar trees that seem to outline each other, the atmosphere is serene and peaceful. Visitors can also spot playful monkeys, who are eager to please the priests and the not-so-large crowds of tourists and devotees. Despite its beauty, it is still not as crowded as other places, making it an ideal destination to visit. However, it is suggested to visit it in the next few years as it may become as crowded as places like Haridwar in the future.
