Brahmatal lake is a frozen lake (during winters) located in the state of Uttarakhand. If you are a beginner in mountain trekking . During winters the trail to the lake is covered with snow and beautiful views of the snow covered mountains. If you are a beginner this would be a challenging yet very rewarding experience. Would recommend to visit this place during the winter.

A PERFECT PLANNER!!
Brahmatal trek is good but reaching the base camp Destination is just horrible and very much time consuming and u get tired like hell. Overall experience will be good ,, just make sure that , if u want to see beautiful view of snow covered trek then do for trek during 2nd week of January. Carry good pair trekking shoes for better stability for climbing around the rocks if in case u come before the snow covered trek. overall all service and destination was amazing
Must go place for all trek freaks. It was my life’s first trek, but telling you, it left a mark in my soul! I saw everything in this one trek- Morning and evening bland of mountains Got lost in the night of sky full of stars Met with people , whom I otherwise would never have Gained respect for the nature and value of life ,Recommend

Professional, Trustworthy, Highly Recommended
The place is superb..amidst nature...lush green place covered with snow...plus trekking is not as difficult..first u go to base camp ..stay there..and the next day start trekking for the kareri lake..as there is no stay option at the lake..enjoy bonfire..carry warm clothes with u...and enjoy the nature
